The great Sobranje will hold its first meetings since the elections in Bulgaria, at Tirnova, in a fortnight. London, October 14.
It is thought that the threatening attitude assumed by Russia is simply intended to paralyse Bulgaria into subm-ssion. The Regents have invited the Great Powers to suggest a ruler to replace Prince Alexander. London, October 15.
The commander of the Bulgarian troops at Rustchub has been arrested for obeying General Kaulbars.. London, October 17.
M. S trail sky, a Bulgarian envoy, has been authorised to arrange a treaty of alliance with Servia.
The Berlin Bourse distrusts Russian securities, and many have been thrown on the market. Russians declare that England is the cause of the distrust.
October 18.
The St. Petersburg Vedomosti urges that a Russian, army should march on Yarna. (eeoter's telrgiiams.) Soma, October 14. Id . response to M. Neklindoff s .formal notice, that the Russian Gn- - >• vernment would consider .the elections -to the Sobranje illegal and valueless, ' the Council of the Regency has replied that the Sobranje can alone be the judge of the legality or otherwise of the elections. The communication of the Regency further declares that M. Neklindoff is answerable for the rioting which took place in this city on Sunday last at the polling place. Sotta, October 14. General Kaulbars suddenly received orders from the Russian Government instructing him to abandon his tour through Roumelia, and he has now returned to Ruatehuck. He will shortly proceed to this city, with a view of delaying the meeting of the Grand Sobranje. London, October 16. Communications are now passing between the great Powers with a view to selection of a successor to Prince Alexander in Bulgaria. Sofia, October 18. The Grand Sobranje has been summoned to meet on the 27th insfc.

Gadbaii Effendi, the Turkish Consul General in London, is proceeding to Sofia, charged with the mission of bringing about a reconciliation be tween the Russian and Bulgarian Government.
St. Petersburg, October 18. Jt is stated, on what is believed to be official authority, that the Russian Government have no iuteufciQU of occupying Bulgaria unless something unforeseen should compel them to do so.
