Brigadier P. H. Bel], D.5.0., officer commanding the Northern Military District, was a passenger from Palmerston North yesterday.
Dr. C. D. Halstead. son of Mr. R. D Halstead, has passed his final examination at London University for a fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr. Halstead, who was born in Auckland, took his degree at Otago .University five years ago, and in the last three years has been attached to medical services in various parts of Britain.
