ENGAGEMENTS CANCELLED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION^ WELLINGTON, Tuesday It is announced that the GovernorGeneral, Sir Cyril Newall, who is now in Wellington, has found it necessary to cancel or postpone all engagements in the South Island up to and including January 15, with the exception of an inspection by His Excellency of •» parade of the school children of Christchurch to be held on Monday next.
