PASCOE CUP TENNIS

The Pascoe Cup inter-house tennis tournament, which has for many years been played under lights at the Clive Road courts, will be played this season in daylight at the Windmill Road public courts, according to a decision reached at a meeting of tho Pascoe Cup Tennis Association, at which delegates of the various business houses concerned were present. Restricted lighting regulations have made it impossible to continue the competition nnder the previous arrangements. It was decided to commence play on Sunday, February 1, matches to be played during the morning and ■ afterrioon of every fine Sunday following. Tho following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. James Pascoe; vice-presidents, same as last year, with addition of Mr. C. Clark and Mr. W. Cavan; secretarytreasurer, Mr. E. J. Price; hon. auditor, Mr. G. Wade; committee, Messrs. Aldred, Carter, Knox, Somers, Sword.
