Qreat Northern Event.—Tho title-holder, W. Thompson, was defeated by R, Watson by 2-12 points to 189 in the Great Northern handicap snooker tournament last night. In the other game M. D, White beat F. Whitcombe by li>4 points to 171. The draw for Mondav is as follows: —B. Cochiel (03) v. J. Delich (70), 7 p.m.; B. Bcdwell (42) v. A Catcs .
