APPEAL LODGED

ACTION BY STIPENDIARY The chief stipendiary steward. Mr, H. T. C. Gomer, has appealed against the punish ment imposed on the apprentice jockey C. B. Goulsbro bv the judicial committee of the Waikato Racing Club for interference during the running of the second division of the Hautapu Handicap on November 15. Goulsbro, who rode River Plate, was held re-sni'iisiblr for interference to Sweet Nothing and Beau Rock and was suspended for the second day of tho meeting. Mr. Gomer was of the opinion that the penalty had not met the offence and reported thus to the Now Zealand Racing Conference, with the result that an appeal has been made to the Auckland District Committee. The appeal will be heard next Tuesday.
