KING'S WHARF LOADING Advice has been received by the Auckland Electric-Power Board that the loading of the King's Wharf steam plant is to he increased next week, stated the general manager, Mr. 11. H. Bartley, in reporting to the board yesterday on the coal supply for generating purposes. He said coal approximately equivalent to the amount burned during the past week had been receivod. The load had dropped slightly, but he was advised that it would be stepped up next week to between 15,000 and 18,000 kilowatts. Mr. Bartley said two of the new gates at tho outlet of Lake Taupo had been closed and it was hoped the water would accumulate to a degree that would help the position next winter.
