MILK COUNCIL VACANCY
FOUR CANDIDATES Four candidates have been nominate! for the vacancy on the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council for a representative of suburban local bodies. These nominated are:—Mr. V. A. Coyle, Mount Albert Borough Council; Mr. C. Snedden, Mount Eden Borough Council; Mr. C. M. McCullough, Mount Roskill Road Board; Mr. T. C. HobbsJones, Devonport Borough Council. Tho Boroughs of Onehunga, Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Takapuna, Northcoto, Birkenhead and Ellerslie did flot nominate candidates!. The election will be held on June The vacancy was caused by the retirement from the council last month of Mr. H. F. W. Meikle. former Mayor of Devonport.
