Thursday A brief announcement concerning a projected visit to Australia by the Minister of National Service and Transport, the Hon. B. Semple. was made to-day by the Hon. W. Nash, acting-Prime Minister. The Government, said Mr. Nash, was making arrangements for a visit by Mr. Semplo to Australia in connection with the supply of munitions. MINISTERS FOR AMERICA SECT? ETA HI ES AN NO ENCED (QX , j WELLINGTON, Thursday The private secretaries to the Hon. F. Langstone and the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coatcs on their mission to the United States of America will be Mr. 15. 15. Turner and Mr. E. L. Officer respectively. It has already been announced that three departmental officers will also be going. Mr. Turner, who holds the B.A. and B Com. degrees, is a member of th* Hon. W. Nash's staff, and his dutieshave brought him into close touch with marketing problems. He takes a keen interest in Pacific affairs, and was secretary of the Institute of Pacific Relations before it amalgamated with the Institute of International Affairs. He was a delegate to the institute conference at Yosemite in Before joining Mr. Coatcs, Mr. Officer was personal secretary and economic adviser to the late Sir Vi illiam Hunt.
