LARGE BEQUESTS
NEW PLYMOUTH ESTATE £IO,OOO TO BARNARDO'S HOMES Several substantial bequests have been provided for in the will of Mrs. Rebeec;i Tabor, ot X™" Plymouth, whose death at the ago of 90 occurred in Svdnev on February 1. Mrs labor lived in Auckland for a few years before going to Sydney in 1938. Hie estate she has left is :i large one, but its value has not vet been precisely determined
Mrs. Tabor lias directed that £IO.OOO is to he set aside and the income from it: devoted to the benefit of the boys of Dr. Barnardo's Homes in England. The fund is to be known as the "George Tabor Fund" in memory of a son of the donor.
A further sum of £IOOO is left to tho Presbyterian orphanges in Wellington, and half of the residue of the estate, after a number of private bequests have been satisfied, is to be a perpetual trust to provide income fo: the missionary activities of the British and Foreign Bible Society in Xew Zealand. The executors of the estate are the Guardian Trust and Executors Companv, Limited of Xew Zealand, and Mr. C. H. Weston, K.C., of Wellington.
