Mrs. Ralph Worley, Arney Road, Remuera, has left, to spend a fortnight in Rotorua. Miss Essie Shenkin, of Milford Road, Takapuna, will return to-morrow from a holiday visit to the South Island. Mrs. W\ Movie and Mrs. M. Lanyon, of Christchurch, who have been visiting Mrs. W. Carson, Benson Road, Remnera, will return south to-day. M rs. 0. McDowell (Wellington), Mrs. G. W. Franco (Dannevirke), Mrs. A. Barton (Feathersfon), Mrs. T. Marshall (Pukekohe), Miss I. McCready (Gisborne) and the Misses AI. and X. Prichard (Auckland) are at the Station Hotel. Miss M. F. Barnett, matron of Masterton' Hospital, has been appointed to a war position in the nursing division of the Health Department, dealing with sick and wounded soldiers. Miss Barnett has resigned from her position as matron.
