Mrs. J. G. Coates, of Kaikobe, arrived in Auckland yesterday and is at the Grand Hotel. Miss Joan Rolph-Smith, of Ranfurly Road, Epsom, will sail to-day by the Mariposa for Australia. Mrs. Murray Glaister, jun., New North Road, Mount Albert, left yesterday on a brief visit to Rotorua. Mrs. Davis Chapman, Hurstmere Road. Takapuna, will leave to-day by the Mariposa to spend two months in Queensland. The M isses A. and L. Stevenson, Cowie Road, Parnell, will leave to-day to spend two weeks at Nihotupu, Waitakere Ranges. Miss Patricia Mowbray, of Si. George's Bay Road, Parnell, left last night to spend a holiday in Feilding and Wellington. Mrs. B. H. Edkins, of Kerikeri, who lias been visiting her mother, Mrs. Wilfred Rathbone, of St. Stephen's Avenue, will leave to-day for Te Aroha. Mrs. J. Hey Worth (London), Mrs. Elmer J. Taylor (New Jersey), Mrs. L. M. Reid (Melbourne) and Mrs. K. R. Brocklehurst (Sydney) are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. E. Hornsbv Gibbons has returncd to Auckland from Wellington and is at Glenalvon, Waterloo Quadrant. Also at Glenalvon is Miss M. Morten, of Christchurch. Mrs. N. B. Spencer. Dilworth Avenue, Remuera, left by air yesterday for Wellington. With her husband she will spend a holiday at the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers.
