OVERSEAS LEAGUE

ELECTION OF OFFICERS Patriotic work done by members and junior members of the Auckland branch of the Overseas League was reviewed by Mr. C. M. Rattray, who presided at the annual meeting of the branch. He said entertainments had been held for the troops, help had been given in connection with collections, and the emergency group, working for the Red Cross, had completed 6708 garments. The balance sheet showed a credit balance. The following officers were elected, in addition to those remaining in office:—President, Judge F. 0. V. Acheson; vice-presidents, Miss A. Sutton, Mrs. L. M. French, Mrs. G. E. Sharood, Miss S. Nolan, Dr. J. A. Clinch, Mr. L. 13. May ho, Mr. H. D. Williamson, Mr. J. Sead-Gowing; honorary treasurer, Mr. II do Lange; honorary audi tor, Mr. J. W. Carr-, committee, Mrs. L. Berry, Miss J. McClyrnont, Mr. E. C. Duncan, Mr. J. ,T. F. Mitchell.
