Sir, —The sisters of the Order of the Good Shepherd, 100 Grev's Avenue, appeal to tho bountiful generosity of their many friends to enable them this Christmas to dispense sueli sharing of bounty among many people who are in real need. It will give joy to the donors, joy to the sisters as almoners, mid joy to the receivers of help. \V. Edward Lush, Chaplain. Sir, —The Salvation Army officers who are constantly engaged in the Christlike work of relieving the distress of others are in constant touch with many deserving families whose happiness this Christmas time will Jargelv depend upon the response from the jiumber of warm-hearted friends in city and country, who will put forth an earnest effort to help with gifts for them. Christmas is coining, and many will he looking to us for help—food, meat, vegetables, books, toys, clothes of nil kinds and gifts of money are urgently needed. On Wednesday. December 18, is the Christmas Tree lor .'it)o children. Can you help us with toys or sweets? The Christmas party for the women in Mount Kden prison is being eagerly looked forward to.
