BOTH LEGS BROKEN

PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VAN AMPUTATION OF ONE LIMB [from our-own cokrespondent] HAMILTON, Friday Knocked down by an Auckland delivery van on the Main South Jioad near the Taupiri Bridge last night, Mr. Charles O'Connor,. aged 47, labourer, Eureka, suffered fractures of both legs, one of which had to he amputated today. He also received head injuries. Mr. O'Connor was walking along the road at the time. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital.
