CATHEDRAL WEDDING

WALMSLEY—TYLER The wedding was very quietly celebrated at St. Patrick's Cathedral last Wednesday of Miss Mary Tyler, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Tyler, of Heme Bay, and Mr. Alan Edward Walmsley, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Walinslev. of Auckland. The Rev. Father Kennedy officiated and the organist was Miss N. Ormond. The bride, who was given away by her father, 'wore a frock and threequarter length coat of midnight blue Angora with a hi life fur collar. Her small midnight blue felt hat was swathed with veiling finishing in a large bow at the back, and she wore a spray of white orchids. Her bridesmaid, Mit'S Patricia Stone, was' in a burnt sienna ensemble of heavy crepe with a silver fox fur and a small black velvet hat with an eye veil. She wore a spray of white petunias. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Gordon Walmsley, as best man. Following tho ceremony a reception, attended only by immediate relatives, was* held at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Tyler, mother of the bride, wore an aqua blue two-piece suit with a spray of orchids, and a matching blue French felt hat. Mrs. Walmsley, mother of the bridegroom, was in a navy and white frock with a navy accordeon pleated cape, and a navy Bangkok hat. She wore a spray of cyclamen on her frock.
