OVERSEAS LEAGUE
With all the delicate perfume and brilliant colouring of the season's flowers, the Overseas League lounge was transformed into a scene of great beautv yesterday afternoon when a (lower show, organised by Miss N. Montgomery, convener of the gardening circle, was held The proceeds are to he used to augment the patriotic fund of the league. The show was opened by Mrs. W. E. Parry, who was introduced by Mrs. F. Bauer, chairwoman of the ladies' committee. The hostesses were Mrs. G. E. Billion and Miss A. Sutton. During the afternoon solos were given by Mrs. .Tones-Parry and Mr. G. Fagan. The accompanists were Mrs. Le Pettit and Miss Sheila Nolan. The exhibits were judged by Mr. G. E. Bullon. -
