FIVE IN HOSPITAL
MOTOR-CAR WRECKED
CHILD'S CONDITION SERIOUS
COLLISION AT A CORNER
[by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday , A collision occurred at the corner of Te Kowhai Road and the Main South Road at Te Rapa shortly after noon yesterday, when a heapy car, driven by Mr. C. A. Magnej/'a farmer, of Te Kowhai, was involved in an accident with a light car driven by Mr. Roland Haylock, of Herald Street, Wellington. ■ There were four children in Mr.. Magner's car, and one, Anne Magner, aged seven, was severely injured. Her condition is serious. Another child received minor injuries. Mr.. Haylock, who suffered bruises and abrasions, was ~ accompanied by Mrs. Elizabeth Millar and Miss Madge Millar, aged 21, of. Petone, both of whom received severe cuts.
All the injured people were admitted to the "Waikato Hospital. Mr. Haylock's car was wrecked.
