TWO AT FRANKTON . MOTORIST'S HEAD INJURIES . % CONDITION FAIRLY " SERIOUS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Friday, A motor-car driven by Mr. Thomas Hughes, aged 50, builder, of Pa Street, Frankton, was involved in a collision with a train on the Seddon Road railway crossing this evening. Mr. Hughes, who was the only occupant, was rendered unconscious, with severe head injuries. He was conveyed to the 'naikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance, and to-night his condition was reported to be fairly serious. The car was extend sivelv damaged. • • * A similar accident occurred at-.the Norton lioad crossing, Fraukton, last evening, when a car driven by Mr.' B. Boyce, of Matai Street,' Paeroa, was struck by a shunting engine. The car was wercked, but Mr. Boycc escaped with minor injuries to one hand.
