ARRANGEMENTS FOR REPAIR
ARRIVAL OF TWO EXPERTS To supervise repairs to the Union Airways monoplane Kahu, which was damaged at the New Plymouth norodromo on July 23, two exports from tho Lockheed Corporation factory at Burbank, California, arrived by the Monowai from" Vancouver yesterday. The machine was flown from Now Plymouth to Palmer,ston North a week ago, temporary repairs being made by tho company's engineers. Considerable interest in tho ocean services which are to junction at Auckland was expressed by tho visiting experts, and yesterday afternoon they inspected tho plant and equipment at the bases of Tasman Empire Airways, Limited, and Pan American Airways, at Mechanic's' Bay.
