CYCLIST KILLED

COLLISION WITH CAR YOUNG MARRIED MAN DELAY IN IDENTIFICATION Fatal injuries were suffered by a cyclist when he was involved in a collision with a motor-car in Symonds Street at about eight o'clock yesterday morning. The victim was:— Mr. Leonard Thomas Kyne Scahill, aged 27, married, of 19 Devon Street, Newton, employed by Wheeler and Son, Anzac Avenue. The cyclist was coming out of Whitakcr Place, apparently with the intention of proceeding do;™ Symonds Street toward the city. The car was being driven down Symonds Street by Mr. Kenneth Bertram Keith. Mr. Scahill was taken to the Auckland Hospital 111 a St. John ambulance, but he died at 10.30 a.m. He was not identified until last night.
