An inspection j of the Rotorua ambulance division, the ; ' Rotorua nursing division and the Roto- j run boy and girl cadet sections was also carried out by District Superintendent H. I). Cobb, who expressed himself as completely satisfied with the [ smartness and progress of the division. ; Results were: — Rotorua Challenge Shield.—Huntly j Ambulance Division, 1; National Re- .1 servo Ambulance, 2. ' , ' j Thomas Allcock Memorial Shield. — j National Reserve Nursing Division, lj : j Onehunga Nursing Division, 2. Coleman Cup.—Huntly Ambulance i Division, 1; Auckland Division, 2. . ! The Sands Challenge Cup and Bluo. f Ribbon was won by Corporal F. Wilkin-'.. son and tho runner-up was Miss: L. Giles. o . At a parade after the close of tho \ competition the district superintendent, Mr. Cobb, addressed the teams and presented medallions to tho following ambulance sisters: —Mrs. 0. Rush, Miss D. Montgomery, Mrs. E. Nicholls, Mrs. K. Kingsland, Mrs. E. Weeks, Mfs. M. Oakes, Mrs. E. M. Young, Miss E. Sands and Miss D. Clarke, and tho medal for the highest marks to Ambulance Cadet W. Mcllwraith and Nursing Cadet Margaret Staples. A presentation of a warrant as divisional surgeon was also made to Dr. W. S. Wall is by Mr. Cobb, who ; referred to the doctor's long association with tho division in Rotorua, A president's badge was presented to tho Mayor of Rotorua, Mr. T, Jackson, who later welcomed the visitors to Rotorua and presented 'the trophies. . < ■ -M
