AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS
MEETING AT MOUNT ALBERT About 80 residents of Mount Albert were welcomed yesterday afternoon at a meeting called by the Mayoress, Mrs. H. A. Anderson, to form a local branch of the Air Raid Precautions Women's Auxiliary. After an outline of the functions of the auxiliary had been given by the chairman of the central executive, Miss E. Bonnet, it was resolved to organise a branch in the Mount Albert district. The following were elected to the local executive committee:—President, Mrs. H. A. Anderson, Mrs.. A. F. Richards, Miss S. Lusk. Miss Ml Maindonaldj.Mrs. L. C. H. Dawson, Mrs. T. J. Sprv, Mrs. Ireland, Mrs. Norman Craig, Miss V. Lowe, Mrs. C.. Martvn, Mrs W. Warren.
