ARTS AND CRAFTS
PENWOMEN'S CLUB There was a large attendance at-the monthly meeting of the arts and, crafts section at the Penwomen's Club rooms on Tuesday evening. The conveper, Mrs. T. P. Duckworth, presided. The stage was gay with paintings of flowers, portraits, tapestry and metal work, brought by members ol: the tion.Mrs. K. C. Peacocke gave an interesting talk on batik work. Some beautiful examples of her ovrn design were displayed by Mrs. Peacocke. Two songs, "1 Love the Moon" (Paul Rubens) and "The Valley of Laughter" (Sanderson), were given by Miss Vera Pickford. Mrs. W. S. Clark accompanied her and played two pianoforte solos.
