MAORI DELEGATES

BUSINESS OF CONFERENCE PROGRAMME FOR TO-DAY The Young Maori Conference continued its sessions yesterday with roundtable discussions on problems, of economics. health and education. The delegates visited the Auckland Training College for lunch, and Sir Apirana Ngata addressed the students in the assembly hall upon the educational methods of the ancient Maori in the schools of traditional lore for voting arikis. In the afternoon visits were paid to the boot factories of K. G. Bridgens, Limited, and Dearsley's, Limited. At the evening session a lecture- on international relations from the historical point of view was delivered by Professor Julius Stone. The delegates to-day will visit the Seddon Memorial Technical College and further factories, and the conference will conclude with a general review of the discussions and a social gathering in the University College Hall, arranged by local Maoris.
