TRAVELS ABROAD
TALK TO LYCEUM CLUB EVENING IN HAMILTON An interesting evening wps spent bv members of the Wnikato Lyceum Club on Thursday evening, when a mtichnppreciatod talk on her' travels abroad was given by Mrs. X. H. Hooker, assisted by Mr. Hooker, who showed beautiful moving pictures of many of the places visited. Mr. and Mrs. Hooker were thanked by Mrs. F. Bullock on behalf of the guests. Songs by Master lan McMullin during the evening proved enjoynblo. Chrysanthemums in tawny autumn colourings intermingled with leaves and berries added a vivid note of colour in the lounge, where supper was served. Among those present were:—Mrs. Hooker, Mrs. F.
