FAREWELL BY MEMBERS WORK FOR HAMILTON CLUB [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday ' A farewell to Mf. K. V. Halliday, who for the past 34 years has been actively associated with the Hamilton Rowing Club, was tendered by members and supporters of the club last night. Members of the Hamilton Orphans' Club, of which Mr. Halliday was a member, also were present. Mr. Halliday has recently been transferred from his position on the staff of the Savings Bank m Hamilton. , Reference to. Mr. Halliday's work in the interests '6f the club were made by Mr. A. M. Bislcy, president, who made a presentation of a travelling case and rug on behalf of the members. Mr. E. H. Bishop, a vice-president of the Waitcniata Rowing Club, referred to Mr. Halliday's services to rowing in Auckland. A set of cups for annua! competition in trial fours was presented to the club by Mr. Halliday.
