SUITS AT ELLERSLIE POPULARITY OF VEILS PATRONS WEAR HIGH BOOTS Overcoats, mackintoshes and umbrellas were well to the fore at the Ellerslio racecourse yesterday, when thfe second day of the Auckland Racing Club's Midsummer Meeting was held, in spite of heavy rain and driving wind. Dark suits or coats with small f e ]fc hats were the most popular wear, but many women found that summer straws with long veils to tie around the face were an excellent preventive of windblown hair.
