MINISTER FAREWELLED
REMUERA BAPTIST CHURCH A farewell social to the Rev. A. J. Grigg, recently elected to take over the position of principal of tho Baptist College of Victoria, Melbourne, was given in tho North Memorial Baptist Church, llemuera, 011 Tuesday night. Various presentations were made to Sir. and Mrs. Grigg and their children, who will leave for Australia early next year. Appreciation of Mr. Grigg's work while associated with tho church was expressed by the Pev. J. J. North, principal of tho Baptist College; Mr. W. H. Newton, chairman of tho college committee; Mr. H. C. Kitchen, vicepresident of tho Auckland Auxiliary of the Baptist Union; tho Pov. ]). H. Stewart, secretary of tho Baptist Ministers' Fraternal; and Mr. Herbert Dearsly, senior deacon of tho North Memorial Church.
In reply, Mr. Grigg said he believed in a trained and teaching ministry, and would do his utmost to fit students under his caro for their life-work.
