FIRST CLEARS SEYCHELLES THE KOMMODORE JOHNSEN Ihe first of two sailing vessels to New Zealand this summer, the North German Lloyd auxiliary fourmasted barque Kommodore Johnsen has cleared the Seychelles Group for New Plymouth and Auckland, according to a cable message from Mahe, the centre of the group. The Kommodore Johnsen, which has previously visited Auckland as the Finnish-owned Magdalene Vinnen, is scheduled to begin discliarjring her guano cargo at New Plymouth on January 3 and at Auckland on January 21.

The other vessel is the Finnish barque Killoran, which is expected to reach Auckland from the Seychelles in February.
