DISCUSSION OVER SITE [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Wednesday Following the decision of the Dargaville Borough Council that it did not favour," the selected site for the new railway station, that as it was felt the station should be situated in the vicinity ;of Awakino Point, and that tht> Minister *of Public Works, the Hon.- It. Semple, should be asked to inspect' both 'sites before any finality was reached, the Dargaville Chamber of Commerce, at its monthly meeting, reaffirmed its support of the site already selected "1 am opposed to any suggestion of the site being altered by local bodies," stated Mr, B. Berry, who explained that the site had been selected by officials of tho Railway Department after alternative, sites had been submitted.
