THE NAVY LEAGUE
' - A resolution expressing heartfelt appreciation of the efforts of the British Prime Minister, Mr.v Neville Chamberlain, in averting a.war in Europe was passed at a meeting of the executive council of the Auckland branch of the Navy League on Tuesday night. The . message is to be forwarded to the head office of the Navy League in London tor transmission to / Mr. Chamberlain. The league also praised the part played by the British' Navy in its pre paredness for defence.
