STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR

MARRIED COUPLE INJURED ACCIDENT IN HOBSON STREET Injuries were received by a married couple, Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Johnston, of Wellesley House, Wellesley Street, as tho result of an accident in Hobson Street late last night. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston were crossing Hobson Street at the Wellesley Street intersection at about 10.30 o'clock, when they were struck by a motor-car. Mrs. Johnston, whose condition last night was considered £airly serious, received a compound fracture of the left leg. Mr. Johnston suffered concussion and his condition is not serious. They were taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance.
