PARTY ON THE DANUBE MAROONED BY NAZIS ' - >• SYMPATHETIC FRKNCHHEJT REFUGE GIVEN ON TUG ' By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright LONDON, April 20 The crew of a French Danube tug, with the permission of the garian authorities, rescued ; the 51 Jews whom Austrian Nazis j had marooned on a breakwater .'in the middle of the river, says the Prague correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. The Jewish community at Bratislava immediately sent blankets, food and other comforts to the refugees, who will remain on the tug pending an international agreement regarding their future. Nazi Storm Troopers arrested 25 other Jews, originally members of the party, and lodged them in an improvised prison at Kittsee, where the villagers protested against their ill-treat-ment. The Nazis thereupon removed . them to an unknown destination. REWARD FOR ARREST THE ARCHDUKE OTTO * (Received April 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 21 The Vienna Police Gazette contains a notice offering a reward for the arrestof Archduke Otto, pretender to*the Throne of Austria, on a charge of high treason, says the Vienna correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. Publication of the notice empowers the German Government to confiscate the Archduke's property in Austria. :■ A message published on April 12 said a warrant on a charge of high treason had been issued against the Archduke Otto. It' the Archduke appeared on German soil he would be tried for his life. It was believed that the reason for the step was the Archduke's appeal to the Powers begging them,.to extend their protection to Austria.
