Tho retiring president, Mr. W. Preece, stated tnat a further hole had been added to the links, making nine holes. The balance-sheet showed a small credit balance. Tho election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. M. A. Brook; vicepresidents, Messrs. 11. Campbell, sen., S. Land, W. K. Peachey; secretary and treasurer, Mr. N. C. Jenkin; club captain, Mr. Mnrphy; general committee, Mesdamcs Murphy, Brook, H. S. Denize, Messrs. Prceco, H. Campbell, H. Purser, G. Mannion and tho officers ex-officio; grounds committee, Messrs. 11. Howell, H. Young, N. M. Moore, tho president and captain; auditor, Mr. H. Young; handicapping committee, club captain. ex-officio, and Mcsdames W. Preece, H. Young. . , Mr. Mannion made a renewal of his offer to permit the club to use his ground as links, and this was accepted with thanks. It was resolved to hold the opening day early in May.
