SENIOR GRADE GAMES FINAL' SERIES TO-MORROW
The Auckland Cricket Association will conclude its season with a scries of two-days senior matches, which will commence to-morrow. The championship has been closed, Eden having been do- J clared winners. In the matches to-mor-row teams have been drawn in tho order in which they finished in the championship. The principal attraction was to have been between Eden and Grafton on the No. 1 wicket, but the latter has defaulted. Parncll and Ponsonby will now meet on this wicket. Owing to Y.M.C.A. being unable to field a team North Shore seniors will bo opposed at Devonport by the Papatoetoo senior B team. The University-King's Old Boys' match has been transferred from Papatoetoo to Victoria Park No. 1. Tho second and third grade finals will also, be decided. The senior championship of tho Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association will be continued at tho Domain to-morrow. The chief attraction will be between Brixton and R.V. on the No. '2 wicket. Tho leaders in the championship, Green Lane, will play Ponsonby on the No. 1 wicket, and Roskill will meet Manukan on the No. 3 wicket. Lower grade competitions will be continued. SECONDARY SCHOOL MATCH [BY TET.ECI?API! —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WIIANGAREI, Thursday For tho first time since tho annual cricket match was arranged between teams from tho Mount Albert Grammar School, Auckland, and tho Whangnrd High School, tho local boys won when theso elevens met at Whangarei to-day. Play commenced yesterday afternoon and stumps were drawn at fivo o'clock this afternoon. In the first innings Whangaroi made 138 (Grant 41, Schon 33, Mason 32), and in the second innings were all out for 03 (James 25.) Mount Albert were dismissed In tho first Innings for 106 (Hemus 20, Coldham 12, Meltzer 15). Whangarei won on the flret innings.
