LAWN TENNIS
ASSOCIATIONS' MATCH AUCKLAND AND WAIKATO TO-MORROW'S COMPETITION Tlio annual match between the Auckland and Waikato Lawn Tennis Associations will bo played at Stanley Street to-morrow. Some of New Zealand's leading players will be taking part and some good tennis should be witnessed.
The Auckland team has not been finalised, but the following players will represent Waikato:— Men.'—J. Roach, D. Clow, R. Matuschka, E. Fouhy, L. Roach, R. Dunlop. Ladies.—Misses Margaret Beverley, Nessio Beverley, Zoo Holmes, P. M. Woolford, M. Edmondson, C. Buckley.
LOWER GRADE FIXTURES Second Grade.—llallyhurton-Johnstone v. Home Bay, Windmill lfoad, Nos. I, - and 3. Third Grade. —Waiata v. Remuera, Windmill Road, Nos. 1. 5 and 3. Fourth Grado. —Auckland v. St. Stephen's, Windmill Road, Nos. 0, 7 and 8. Fifth Grado. —Ngatira v. Fergusson Park, Windmill Road, Nos. 0, 10 and 8. KING COUNTRY PLAYERS The following players will represent the King Country Lawn Tennis Association against Taranaki at New Plymouth next week: —Ladies: Misses G. Bell, F. Holmes, and Mesdames Trapski, Archer, Innes and Halcoinbo. Men: M. Martin, It. Waretinl, P. H. .Tones, J. .Tones, It. Wontzel and J. Halcombe. WAITOMO CLUB'S EVENTS Results of the finals of the Wnitomo Lawn Tennis Club's championships are as follows; — Men's singles, Wnrolini beat Wenzell, o—s; ladies' singles, Miss Holmes beat Mrs. Trapski, 10 —8; men's doubles, Waretini and Wenzell beat Jones and Thompson, 9—3: combined doubles, Waretini and Mrs. Trapski beat Thompson and Miss Holmes, 7—l.
