AUCKLANDER'S SUCCESS • The distinction of having prints accepted and hung in 12 international salons of art' photography has been gained during 1937 by Mr. H. J. Schmidt, a' well-known Auckland photographer. His latest successes include acceptance by the Toronto Salon, the Victorian Salon, Australia, the Focus Salon at Amsterdam, the Irish Salon, the Jugo-Slavia Salon and the London Salon. At the. London exhibition only 396. of more than 5000 prists submittal were accepted.
