CHARGES FOR WATER
MOUNT ALBERT REDUCTION The rate for tho supply of water by meter in the borough was reduced by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a special mooting last night. Tlio new rate for a minimum consumption of IS,OOO gallons, which operates from October 1, is £1 lis 6d a year, compared with tho previous charge of ill 14s. New charges for excess consumption were also fixed.
