CORONATION DANCE

AUCKLAND RUGBY LEAGUE SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION A Coronation celebration dance, held by the Auckland Rugby Football 1 .eague in the Peter Pan Cabaret last night, proved a i unction of outstanding; success, over 800 people being present. Spirited music was rendered by Tlieo Walter's band, the numbers rendered covering a wide range of modern and old-time dances. J lie ladies of the committee comprised:—Mrs. R. Scott, black cire satin. The guests were received by Airs. J. A. Lee, wife of Air. J. A. Lee, president of the league. She was wearing black panne velvet, and during the evening was presented with a bouquet in Coronation colours by Airs. Ivan Culpan, chairman of the ladies' social committee.
