MUSIC TESTS
EXAMINER FROM LONDON Practical examinations of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools or Music, London, will be conducted this year by ])r. E. Mark ham Lee, who visited New Zealand as examiner in Dr. Lee will arrive early in July a "d the examination date in Auckland ■frill be/July 30. Written examinations frill be held on Julv 3 and November 6.
Ic P r - Leo was born at Cambridge in 1874. He is an organ scholar of Emmanuel College and took the Bachelor °f Musip and Doctor of Music degrees under Sir Charles Stanford. ] s also a, Blaster of Arts. Ho has specialised in lecturing for the universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Lon*|°n> and in composition. lie is a member of the Philharmonic Society and of the Worshipful Company of Musicians. He has published many compositions and books.
