TAUPO FISHING HOLIDAY GOOD SPORT ENJOYED [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TUHANGI, Thursday Seven trout, averaging 61b., wera caught by the Governor-General, Viscount Galway, in the Waiotaka River to-day. His Excellency's aide-de-camp, Captain R. Stuart French, secured five. Fine weather was experienced throughout the day, and .the fishing generally was excellent. Practically every angler secured fish, the average catch being about four and the average weight about 61b. Three Hawke's Bay visitors caught a total of 18 fish in the Hut and Log pools. All fish caught were in particularly good condition. His Excellency will fish in the dis- , trict to-morrow, and will leave on his return to Wellington on Saturday afternoon.
