THE PRIME MINISTER
ARRIVAL ON MONDAY CIVIC FAREWELL PLANS When the Prime Minister, the Rfc. Hon. M. J. Savage, arrives in Auckland on Monday from Wellington he will be accompanied by the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple. the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, and the Minister of Mines, the Hon, P. C. Webb. Messrs. Semple, Armstrong and Webb, together with thp Minister of Education and Health, the Hon. P. Fraser, who is at present visiting South Auckland, will attend the civic farewell to the Prime Minister to be held in the Town Hall at 8 p.m. The Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, will preside at the civic farewell, at whi<*h speakers ■will include the Hon. B. Martin. deputy-mayor, Mr. I. J. Goldstine, Mayor of One-Tree Hill, who will represent local bodies in the metropolitan area, and Mr. J. Jennings, president of the Auckland Labour Representation Committee.
