HUGE BEQUEST IN AMERICA 46,000,000 DOLLARS LEFT NEW YORK, Jan. 13 One of the largest philanthropic bequests ever made in the United States is that of the former banker, the late .Mr. Charles Hayden, who left <10,000,000 dollars of his estate of 50,000,000 dollars for the education of boys and young men, especially for the advancement of their moral, mental and physical well-being.
Mr. Hayden was a bachelor. The remainder of the estate was left to his brother and a friend.
