MUNITIONS OF WAR
MAKERS DECLARE DIVIDEND GREATLY INCREASED ACTIVITY BERLIN, Jan. 13 The Krupps firm of munition makers, has declarod its first dividend for 14 years, namely 4 per cent on a net profit of £1,152,000, compared with a profit of £827,000 in the previous year. Wages and salaries were increased during the year by £1,600,000. Tho report does not mention armament production, but says it was necessary during the year to put the entire production equipment into operation and to extend many departments. The administration realises that further great demands will be made on the firm in the future.
