GERMAN BREAD SUPPLY
CONSERVING WHEAT AND RYE USE AS FODDER FORBIDDEN (Received January 14, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, Jan. 13 In order to protect the bread supply of Germany, a decree has been issued forbidding the salo of wheat, rvc or their products for fodder purposes. It is estimated that, compared with last year, at least 2,000,000 tons less wheat and rye must be fed to livestock. The authorities aro arranging to buy fodder from abroad wherever it can be procured.
