LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

PARNELL BRANCH MEETING Tho Parnell branch of the League ,of Mothers met in tho Knox Hall recently. Mrs. J. A. Watson presided. Reports on the year's work wero given by the secretary, and the financial statement was read bv the treasurer, Mrs. A. M. Duthie. Mrs. F. W. Whyte was the speaker and took as her subject "Cooperation in the Home." Mrs. Palmer was the soloist. Christmas gifts wero handed to each member, and a toy for each child. Afternoon tea brought tho last meeting for the year to a close.
