BURGLARY IN CITY

SMALL SUM STOLEN The motor repair shop of Philip Lewis, Limited, in Albert Street, was broken into on Saturday night and approximately £2 10s taken from the office. The burglary was discovered by a member of the firm when he went to the workshop at about 11.15 p.m. and found the back door had been forced. Papers and books were scattered over the floor, and there was evidence of a thorough search for money.
