HEALTH STAMP CAMPAIGN
GOOD PUBLIC RESPONSE FUND ALREADY £4723 [by TF.I.F.GKArrr —own correspondent] WELLINGTON, Tuesday The end of the second week of the Health Stamp campaign shows that another £IOOO has been added to the total and the Director-General of the Post Oflice, Mr. G. McNamara, states that the fund is already within a few hundreds of reaching half its objective of £IO,OOO, the total to date being £-1723. The amounts added to the credit of the health camps from the respective postal districts arc as follows: —Wellington, £96.'}; Auckland, £'(3B9; Christelmreh, £631; Wanganui, £477; Dunedin, £;527; Nelson, £217; Palmerston North, £237; Oamaru, £174; Napier, £112; ] nvcrcargill, £101; Thames, £103; Hamilton, £99; Timaru, £80; New Plymouth, £6B; Blenheim, £62; Gisbornc, £27; Greymouth, £2l; Westport, £l3; G.L'.O., Wellington, £217. The total to date comprises donations, including amounts paid direct to health camp associations as well as those paid into the Post Olfice, £2llO, aiul stamp sales, £2283.
