MONEY AND GOLD BANGLE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHNAGAREI, Tuesday Thieves were active at Whangarei during tho week-end, when two homes were visited. Tho home of the Rev. 0. Burnett, in Bank Street, was entered while the household was at church on Sunday evening. The thief climbed through the kitchen window, and stole 6s from a bedroom, and an initialled gold bangle. The house was not otherwise disturbed. Clothes were stolen from a line at the back of Mr. T. Kendall's home in Wallace Street. The thief took various articles, including sheets worth £2 4e 6d.
